37th Annual Fine Art Fair will be held on Saturday August 28th, 10am - 4pm and Sunday August 29th, 9am-3pm at Latham Park in downtown Lincoln. Over 77 juried artists from various mediums make this fine art fair one of Central Illinois' best. We are proud to offer art of all mediums. Photography, water colors, ceramic, jewelry, pottery, mixed mediums, metal work, wood work, and many more.

Children's Art Fair is a place where children can shop and create artwork while mom, dad, and grandparents visit the Art Fair. Sponsored by Christian Child Care this is a safe place for your children to visit and learn more about art. We offer unique art; this opportunity allows children to make their own art fair purchases at reduced, child friendly prices. Children's Art Fair hours are Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 9-3. This is an excellent opportunity to introduce your child to the exciting world of art.
The Craft Fair makes the move to Scully Park in downtown Lincoln. There are over 40 booths to browse for handmade crafts. Enjoy lunch and live music before making your way through lovely downtown Lincoln. Enjoy this great addition to the downtown area. Crafters of all mediums will be available Friday 3-5, Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 10-4.
The Oasis Flea Market will offer treasures for everyone. Wander through Scully Park in attempt to find that hidden gem you have been looking for. Don't forget to stop by the food tent for a delicious lunch; it's also a great place to visit with friends and family while enjoying the musical talents of Country Mavericks, The Amazing Elvis. Flea Market opens in Scully Park Friday 3-5, Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 10-4.
The Art of Wine is an Illinois Wine Tasting event presented by Main Street Lincoln. Come experience wine tasting at its best. And $9.00 ticket will give you a complimentary wine glass and free tickets to sample wines from any of our eight Illinois wineries. Additional tickets will be available for purchase at 50 cents each. Individual wineries establish the price of a glass of sample wines. This event will be held in the 100 block of South Kickapoo, in beautiful downtown Lincoln. This adventure through Illinois Wine County, will take place Saturday 11:30am-10pm and Sunday 11:30am-6pm.

Lincoln Art & Balloon Festival Parade-kickoff the festival with a lights & siren parade winding through downtown Lincoln featuring sponsors, pilots, and other local groups. The parade will travel downtown past both Scully Park & Latham Park ending at the Logan County Airport. Parade starts at 3:30pm. To be part of the parade click here.
Hot air balloon inflations and display - come get up close and personal with the hot air balloons and pilots. This will be a great opportunity to ask all of your balloon questions and satisfy your curiosities. Hot air balloon pilots will inflate their balloons with cold air allowing for the exploration into the heart of the balloon. This display will be both educational and entertaining, from 11:30am to 12:30pm on Saturday.
Family fun and games come enjoy the day while the kids play. Work your way through the corridor of activities between Latham Park and Scully Park along Kickapoo Street. This is a great way to spend you day before heading out to the airport.
Carriage Rides will be offered through the downtown corridor to travel from park to park, take in the sites of historic towntown Lincoln. This is a great way to enjoy the activites and shopping of downtown. $5 per Adult (Over 12), $2 per Child (12 & Under).
Car Show on Sunday is sponsored by Railsplitter Antique Auto Club and it will be held downtown around the Courthouse square. Enjoy an afternoon stroll from 1pm-4pm.
Lincoln Public Library Used Book Sale is an annual event that offers patrons with the opportunity to purchase books from a large selection of literature. Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am -2pm, at the Lincoln Public Library, 725 Pekin Street.
Come and sample some of Logan County's finest produce at the Lincoln Farmer's Market held both Saturday and Sunday of the Festival on the corner of Kickapoo and Clinton Street.
Food Downtown - Lincoln offers multiple food choices for even the pickiest of eaters. We have corn dogs, walleye sandwiches, smoothies, kettle corn, pulled pork sandwiches, along with full service menus from the Jr. Women's Club at Latham Park and the Oasis Senior Center in Scully Park. We guarantee you won't go home hungry.
The 1800's Craft Fair will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2010, from 10am-4pm at Postville Courthouse State Historic site, 914 Fifth Street, Lincoln. We invite you to come visit the grounds where Abraham Lincoln practiced law. Step back in time and enjoy the talents and skills that have been handed down from many generations before. Crafters will demonstrate rug hooking, rope making, spinner-weaving, quilters, blacksmithing, broom making, cabinet making, coppering, wool dying, candle dipping, paper marbleizing, and chair making. An herbalist will be on hand, as will an 1840's buck sinner, a live honey bee display, and other 19th century activities. Lincoln impersonator Gary Simpkins and period music provided by Postville Express, Chris Vallillo, Prairie Aires, Dale Evans, Steve Staley, and Mark Mathewson.

Come enjoy the mass ascension of the hot air balloons in the skies of Logan County. Morning and evening flights both Friday and Saturday weather permitting. At dusk the balloons will come back to the Airport and re-inflate for evening glows. This is a spectacular event that is enjoyed by the young and old alike.
Tethered Balloon Rides will be available Friday August 27th and Saturday, August 28th at the Logan County Airport weather permitting. Rides are $10 per Adult and $5 per child (12 & Under) and up to 6 people can ride at a time.
The airport offers family fun and entertainment with children's activities and our Midway Carnival.
Rock Climbing - Test your skills as you trek to the top of the "mountain". This festival favorite is fun for all ages.
